Jay Peak Resort, Vermont, has issued a "last call" on its operating season. Well, it sort of, kind of, maybe issued a "last call."

On Instagram, the resort shared that this coming weekend—May 4th and 5th—might be its final round of lift-serviced skiing riding. However, if the weather cooperates, Jay Peak could also reopen on May 11th and 12th.

"Is [this coming weekend] truly the last chance for this season? Maybe, but probably not," Jay Peak wrote. "We still have our hearts and sights set on reopening for one more weekend."

This week, Jay Peak is closed and will reopen this Saturday, May 4th, with piste access via the Jet Triple and the Taxi Quad. The terrain park crew might reopen the Rusch Park on Saturday. Lift tickets are only $49.

Jay Peak advised its clientele to stay tuned for further updates.

Killington, Vermont, another Northeast stalwart, will also spin its lifts in May—and perhaps later. Killington often offers skiing into June.

Killington is open seven days a week through May 5th. After that, the resort will remain open on Fridays, Saturdays, and Sundays as long as the snow lasts.
